Part of the success in glider snatch pickups is the ground to plain teamwork.
Here a Douglas C-47 of the 9th Troop Carrier Command, is shown flying low over a glider it will snatch from the ground.
The jeep in the fore-ground equipped with radio, relay instructions to the plane pilot throughout take off and glider snatch.
17 April 1945.

Retomando el tema, esto escribieron en G503,cuando subi la fotografia

That antenna base is an MP-57 with MS-49 thru MS-53 antenna sections.

Those radio boxes look like they are for a SCR-193 but it is pretty late in the war for that set up.

Anyone else with a shot at the radio?

It would appear to be the AN/VRC-1 radio installation, albeit with a non-standard location for the antenna.
