estuve viendo si puedo descubrir que caja tengo y una de las caracteristicas es que no tiene la abertura grande donde van los rieles y en G503 dice esto:

The EARLY WWII t'cases are different from the LATER style. Your pic is of the LATER type. Look at the MAIN CASE where the FRONT HOUSING bolts onto the main case. Yours has two holes where the rails slide forwards and backwards as you move the levers on the t'case. The early type main case had a large opening instead of the two holes for the rails.
I believe that this change came about when it was discovered that the high-speed spinning of the gears would throw oil forward into the front housing and it would leak out of the breather.
I do not know the exact date this change took place, but I would imagine it would have been after mid-1942.Chuck Lutz
