Yes, that "cat's eye" taillight is the predecessor to the standard WW II combat safety taillight. The cat's eye was used on many MA's, GP's and Bantams quarter-tons, with the last of those vehicles using the standard WW II tail lights. It was also used on Dodge T-207 WC 1/2 tons and other (but not all) 1940-41 built MVs. Nice find. Please send your flea market vendors to Colorado!
