Tom Wolboldt escribió:The GPW used 3 styles of reflector bizals.
The 1st was the round type made by Corcoran-Brown. It was used from day one until somewhere between GPW serial numbers 100005 and 108175.
The 2nd was the clipped type ( in Ford terms ) and was - marked Guide A2 No.415A. This one was used from the end of the round type to at least GPW serial number 183457 . The end use at this time is poorly defined and can still be seen on July, '45 Louisville built GPWs.
The 3rd type was the oval type ( seen on a May, '45 Dallas made GPW ) and was - marked PMCo 450. This type ran from the end of the clipped type ( again timeline is poorly defined at this time ) until the end of GPW production and may have been used along with the Clipped type.
As far as I know Guide A2 No. 408 Cs were not used on GPWs. Opps I forgot the round " f " marked Guide A2 No. 408 C bizals were the second type of round bizals used on GPWs in '42 and early '43.
