ON THE BEVELLED SURFACE OF THE 2ND LEAF USING WHITE PAINT.
( III.) RH FRONT LEAF SPRING IS WO-A613. WITHOUT ANY SPECIFIC
MARKING JUST LIKE THE LH ASSY.

THE REBOUND CLIPS OF MB LEAF SPRINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS :
A. ) FOR FRONT LEAF SPRINGS :
1. ) SHORT CLIP IS ON THE 3RD LEAF & LONG CLIP IS ON THE 6TH.
THE DIMPLE AND THE FOLDING PART OF THE REBOUND CLIP
BOTH LIES ON THE BEVELLED FACE OF THE LEAF AND NOT ON
THE FLAT SURFACE.
B. ) FOR REAR LEAF SPRINGS :
1. ) SHORT CLIP IS ON THE 3RD LEAF & LONG CLIP IS ON THE 5TH.
THE DIMPLE AND THE FOLDING PART OF THE REBOUND CLIP
BOTH LIES ON THE BEVELLED FACE OF THE LEAF AND NOT ON
FLAT SURFACE.
MY FIRST 3 REFERENCE TELLS ME THAT THE MB REBOUND CLIP IS MOUNTED IN SUCH A WAY THAT ITS DIMPLE AND ITS FOLDING END LIES BOTH ON THE BEVELLED FACE OF THE LEAF. SO WHEN THE MB LEAF SPRING IS INSTALLED THE DIMPLE AND THE FOLDING END OF THE CLIP ARE FACING THE GROUND.
QUESTION : IS IT CORRECT OR APPROPRIATE TO MOUNT THEM THE
OTHER WAY? YES OR NO? SINCE WE ARE AFTER
AUTHENTICITY.....RIGHT?
I BELIEVE THAT DIMPLE HAS ITS USE. IT IS MEANT TO SIT IN THE HOLE OF THE LEAF SO AS NOT TO SLIDE BACK AND FORTH. JUST LIKE THE U BRACKET THAT IS RIVETED IN THE LEAF OF GPW SPRING.
QUESTION : IS THE 3RD & 6TH CLIP LOCATION ON FRONT LEAF AND THE
3RD & 5TH CLIP LOCATION ON REAR LEAF APPLIES TO BOTH
MA AND MB? OR JUST WILLYS MA?
