I am not sure what the GH means. Is this a post war made copy of a GPW starter ? The G in GPW is wrong and almost looks like an upside G. Is there 10 teeth on the drive gear ? This drive assembly looks odd to me also. There should be a thin spring and washer between the gear and collar above it and the thread that the gear runs on should not be seen. See the attached photos

El "Pope" sabeeeeeeee,a raiz de esto encontre (MB 43,me comento que hubo una fundicion aca con el nombre GH) piezas de esta fundicion.
se dedicaban a carcazas,planchas a carbon etc.Puede ser que la hayan fabricado localmente para tan pocos jeeps.. una explicacion puede ser esto:hace bastante vi un partida de reductoras todas cortadas con electrica,las tenia alguien conocido..habian estado en la aduana y se vendieron por kg,servian para repuestos.En la aduana se decomisaba mucho y a veces salian repuestos por $xkg,lo mejor se salvaba...Puede haber habido una partida de arranques inservibles y fabricaron la carcaza en cuestion.

Hi Tom, I think you're right about GH, I found that there was a foundry call here in Argentina GH, who made this incredible piece, on the other hand we did not have so many jeeps here,so its rare..
That kind of foundry, also is called GH, but if you've never seen before would be discarded.

La otra es que a la fundicion dura se al abrevia con la GH,se utiliza internacionalmente.
No creo que haya mas tela para cortar..si sale algo mas binvenido
